My first was London. I had a strict training plan and I got round comfortably, happily and with relative ease to a time of 3hr 33min.
6 months later I did Bournemouth, I stuck to the same training plan, but I found training to be very difficult and I really struggled on race day - I almost had to stop. I manged to get a better time f 3hr 26min, but it was hard work.
I was wondering if anyone else struggled when it came to their second marathon?
I am now training for my Third, Edinburgh, and I wondering whether it will follow the path of London or Bournemouth, has anyone got any advice?
